Ways to Serve
Worship Team
Use your musical gifts to lead the congregation in worship. Whether you sing, play an instrument, or help with sound and technology, there's a place for you on our worship team.

Hospitality & Greeting
Be the welcoming face of our church! Greeters help visitors feel at home and ensure everyone receives a warm welcome when they arrive for services.

Teaching & Education
Share your knowledge and faith by teaching Sunday school, leading Bible studies, or mentoring others. Help people of all ages grow in their understanding of God's Word.

Prayer Ministry
Join our prayer team to intercede for our church, community, and world. Prayer warriors are the backbone of our ministry, supporting everything we do through faithful prayer.

Community Outreach
Serve those in need through our various outreach programs. From visiting the homebound to preparing meals, there are many ways to demonstrate Christ's love practically.

Facilities & Maintenance
Use your practical skills to maintain our church building and grounds. From repairs to cleaning to landscaping, these behind-the-scenes efforts keep our facility welcoming and functional.

Becoming a Member
Membership at Woodrow Gospel Chapel is more than just adding your name to a list – it's a commitment to be part of our church family, to support one another, and to participate in our mission together.
What membership involves:
- A personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
- Believer's baptism (or willingness to be baptized)
- Agreement with our core beliefs and values
- Commitment to regular worship attendance
- Participation in the life and ministry of the church
- Financial support through tithes and offerings
- Living a life that honors Christ

Discovering Your Gifts
The Bible teaches that every believer has been given spiritual gifts by the Holy Spirit for the purpose of building up the church and serving others. These gifts might include teaching, encouragement, service, leadership, mercy, hospitality, and many others.
If you're not sure what your gifts are, we can help you discover them! Through prayer, Scripture study, and trying different areas of service, you can identify how God has uniquely equipped you for ministry.

Current Volunteer Needs
We're always looking for willing servants to help with various aspects of church life. Here are some current areas where we especially need volunteers:
- Sunday School Teachers: Help children learn about God's love
- Greeters: Welcome people as they arrive for services
- Coffee Fellowship: Prepare and serve refreshments after services
- Visitation Team: Visit homebound members and nursing home residents
- Meal Ministry: Prepare meals for families in need
- Maintenance Help: Assist with building and grounds upkeep
